Has the Recession Affected You

The current recession has effected people in many ways.  Many have lost jobs impacting them both financially and emotionally.  Even for those who are very diligent, looking for a new position daily, after months of unemployment, depression and anger frequently ensue.  These emotions obviously have ramifications for family relationships.  Some have dealt with this by drinking more.

The housing market has impacted people, as well.  Couples with expanding families often find that they are temporarily stuck in tight quarters.  Divorcing couples are in a bind about selling their property.  Some couple have to live apart for a few months of the year when one partner has specific climate needs and the other partner is hoping to sell the family home.  For those facing foreclosure or bankrupcy, the effects are devasting.

The list goes on and on.  Schools for the children have in some instances need to be changed.  Summer camps and summer vacations have been curtailed.
